Lee, I wanted to do the same for my RAF bubble sextant, but came to the conclusion that it was too expensive and too hard to find a suitable contact. There is a do-it-yourself guide on the net, mainly for people that build home telescopes I think, but it required a lot of effort and sounded quite dangerous too!. What I did was to go into my local glass shop (Perth) and get the guy to cut me a new mirror at a cost of $5. That doesn't answer your question, I know, but it might be a way out for you too.
