Torpedo levels are usually 1mm/m, sadly that translates to ~3.5´, some better models are 0.5mm/m which is ~1.75´.
These numbers mean that if the surface measured is inclined Until bubble has moved 2mm from centre inclination is 1mm (or 0.5mm) measured over 1m.
If reversed end over end several times and if care is taken ±1´ should be possible.
BUT (always one) if level is heavy enough to deflect mirror and/or leveling arangement... things change.
