I did just that years ago.
Search the archives for the 2102e using google

Locate the spreadsheet by me, Brad Morris. It does the azimuthal equidistant blue overlays in 1° increments.
I even extended it such that you can do the blue overlays from north to south pole while on either the N or S base!!

After the recens discussion about the 2102-D starfinder one other idea.
The 2102-D has the latitude disks for 5° increments.
Is there not a computerised person who can code a program that generates
disks for a wanted altitude (1° increments). Then you can print it on a laserprinter
it fits on A4 format, punch a hole and there is the correct latitudedisk.
That should make the old 2102-D more versatile.
Wel perhaps it is not so easy, but is this just a idea.regards,
