Hi Brad,
Post-war production is described in Ronald van Riet's paper on page 27 and I was sent the following link http://sliderulemuseum.com/REF/Dennert.htm that gives the company history. It apparently still exists as Aristo Graphic Systems and I have just sent them an email enquiring about the possible existence of a company archive or similar. From Ronald's paper we learn that the MHR1 was relabeled as HR1 and so a certain amount of care is needed in drawing conclusions about differences between the two.
Does your MHR1 exhibit the features at 80d and 82d that I noted in my earlier post http://fer3.com/arc/m2.aspx/Ruminatons-on-Bygrave-Hohenrechenschieber-scale-markings-Stuart-feb-2013-g22476 ?
