Thanks for digging on this. Does the Aristo name in the web address indicate post war manufacture? I seem to recall Aristo name was used post war.
Imagine the difficulty of drawing this and then making the production scales to fit the mechanical tubes. To make an enlargement or reduction by photograhpic means moving the image plane towards or away. The scale has to fit the tube and align along the seam to near perfection. They didn't have the luxury of PostScript software manipulations!

Also http://sliderulemuseum.com/Aristo/DennertAndPape_HR1_TomDilatush.jpg shows a G mark on an HR1 just visible at the corner of the window.
