I would like to inquire of the list reguarding STCW.I am trying to compile some statistical info(for personal reasons)that will not be disclosed outside.I am especially interested in hearing from non-U.S. seaman and officers although all info will be appreciated.What are your nations requirements?I'm wondering if they are the same as in the U.S.About how much money are you spending to keep your credentials current?Do you find the requirements and information gained helpfull in dischargeing your duties i.e. Bridge Resource Management etc. ? Feal free to send the info offlist.
