Another great contributer to the NavList has left us.
Perhaps Hanno can now continue his discussions with George Huxtable - or even Captain Cook.
Who knows ??????

I was very sorry to hear about Hanno,
I never met him personally, but we had a friendly and very interesting email correspondence in recent years.
He helped me a lot with the maths and also useful advice on engineering homemade instruments like slide rules.
In fact, he was so helpful, I sent him one of my homemade Fuller 2 cylindrical slide rules a few months ago. I hope he had some fun with it.
He told me a bit about his recent trip to New Zealand which apparently had been a long term ambition, so I am glad he did that. (It is still on my bucket list)
I hope we can keep his correspondance on line? I would cetainly like to refer to some of his earlier posts.
Best wishes
