It looks like this information is already well know to NavList members, but this is to formally announce the forthcoming history of navigation symposium at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, London.
The symposium will take place on 6-7 May 2010.
Full details, including the programme and registration form, can be found at:
http://www.nmm.ac.uk/researchers/conferences-and-seminars/senseofdirection
In addition to the symposium, on the morning of 6 May there will be some optional sessions looking at some of the Museum's navigational collections, and conservation work on John Harrison's second marine timekeeper, H2. You can book for these when registering for the symposium. Places for these tours will be limited, so book early!
