A sailing buddy (Catalina 350 on lake Michigan) just passed his 100-ton offshore Masters license exam (rated at 50-ton Great Lakes and inland until he gets more salt water time) and I had helped him through the navigation studies (the hardest part for him). As a thank you he gave about 200 sample questions for Block Island and Chesapeake Bay and practice charts, and I can't resist playing with them. Some day if I can get enough time on the Great Lakes and coast logged, would like to sit for the exams. No better time to start studying than now. Bill
