    After plotting the scenario out and measuring the distance between what I got the same answer as the "answer" provided as the "correct answer"
     
    My Calculations:
     
    1020 to 1112 is 52 min
     
    52 minutes is 0.86 hour
     
    0.86 x 9.2 knots = 7.97 nm
     
    (agree with your CDMVT conversion) 045d T at 7.97 nm = 41d 15.685' N, 071d 42.545' W
     
    The difference between that point and the waypoint is 141d at 1.2 knots.
