If you are willing to send your mirrors all the way to France, Navastro, a reputable company proposes mirror resilvering as well as mirror replacements (with new Freiberger mirrors etc...)see http://www.navastro.fr/en/index.html -> you have to select Accesories, Spare Parts, and then Technical Service in box named Other Headings.JPP

I have also been looking for re-silvering service for a while for my
old
C. Plath mirrors.
Finally, I found a local amateur telescope shop in Pleasanton, CA, who
were
willing to experiment. They put on same reflective coating that they
use for
telescope mirrors for very reasonable price.
Initially it looked pretty good, but the coating turned out not to be
durable enough.
After mounting and mirror adjustments the reflective layer developed
several
damaged spots.
So I am planning to go for round two next week, and this time cover
the back of
the mirrors with protective paint before handling them.
Does anybody have any suggestions as to what paint or varnish to use?
I was thinking about few layer of black enamel spray, simply because I
have a
can at hand.
For replacements you may also try to contact Ridge White at Robert
White Instrument company
in Boston (800-992-3045). They may be able to provide you with a
replacement mirrors,
though last time that I talked to them they said they had lost their
silvering contractor.
