Hi ,
As they are rectangular, they are rather easy to be replicated from float glass with good if not better optical qualities as the original ones. A few years ago Bill Morris wrote an article on how to make such new mirrors at home. I followed his instructions and made 4 or 5 of them with success for my own use.

Hi,
If you are willing to go as far as in France, Navastro provide this service in their workshop. They are really nice and competent people.
They charge 65 euros per mirror resilvering.

Hello everyone,
I just puchased an old Tamaya sextant made in 1932. It is in a good general condition, but both mirrors have to be repaired (resilvered).
Attached is a picture of the sextant and the mirrors.
Does anyone know who can provide the resilvering service ?
Thanks !!!
