Yes 90 Euros are about 108$. But what I meant was that you could probably buy this scope from a private seller at less than 100$ whereas RegioZeist is a professional retailer adding VAT on tha sale leading to a commercial price of 90 Euros.
So let us say that this scope can be purchased in the commercial sector for about 110$.

The scope itself is worth less than 100$. It can be had at RegioZeist, a Dutch seller, http://www.regiozeist.nl/eng_scheeps_sextant_freiberger_parts.htm, for 90 Euros.

So would that be the famed inverting scope with grid we see on the sextant?
Perhaps worth the price just for the scope?
