Red,
Patton is one my favourites.
Have you read "Patton: A Soldier's Life" by Stanley
P. Hirshon? 700 plus pages but a good read.
They don't make 'em like that anymore.
Robert

" Probably because it is greatly impractical. In the noon sunlight, it would burn your hands (bare metal) and blind you from glare spots. The folks who say things on eBay like "must use [irrevocable, untraceable] bank transfer because..." are usually afraid of something. Like, getting caught. I figure anyone who wants Nazi memorabilia, is a fair target for a rip-off. But then again, I'm also one of the folks who think Patton should have been allowed to race the Russians for the rights to turn Berlin into a parking lot before requiring the Germans to salt the earth there.
