It is a delightful museum, and all the better for being across the plaza from Pastéis de Belém, a perfect spot to enjoy coffee and one of their crazy-good pasteries!
By the way, the production coutinho on display is a left-handed instrument. (see pic below, which i took when I visited a few yrs back).
Which as a leftie, makes me wonder why. Though I am left-handed, I am so used to the standard configuration, that I can't imagine being able to work it.
The Plath Coutinho I have here in my office is the standard right-handed configuration, so assume they must have made both left- and right-handed versions?
Is there some functional reason for it being lefthanded?
