Also to mention, it is important to check the sextant out ASAP after it
arrives. if there is any sign of shipping damage (crushed corners,
etc.) note that when you are signing for it. It is certainly possible
that even a well-packed sextant can be knocked out of alignment in
shipping, in which case a prompt claim for the insurance may be the
simplest and most effective solution.
I'd love to see a UPS or USPS insurance adjuster asking "It's a SEX
WHAT?"<G>
