Nial and Brad, thanks for the compliments- that was me and I still have plenty tubes left :o) I don't mind if you hand over your set though, no worries... While a lathe is fine and helpful, it is not a necessity. Trickiest bit being the tubes. For the locking mechanism's cam-disc, however, a laser cutter could be helpful. But rather as a perfection- my jigsaw work does the job perfectly well.
