Thanks for the tips, Sean. I think I had a good day doing a series of alternating actual and artificial horizon sun sights, and ended by doing a couple of moon sights, and a star sight. The ocean horizon was fairly hazy today.
It will take a while to process the data properly but I may take an initial shortcut which I've used earlier and that's charting circles/radii of position with Garmin Topo 9.0.
