Thanks, Lawrie. I'm thinking it was the way I was holding the sextant but I also tend to keep one eye closed when reading closeup so the way I'm looking in the scope may be part of it as well.
I appreciate all the input. Some of the posts from years past are helping as well. I think I'm up to 2022 now.
