    Salut Yves,

You said: "If needed, I can provide short descriptions (with publication excerpts) about these methods."
    Yes, please.

Katwijk: sadly at http://www.imla.co/  the newsletter is available only after march 1986.

    Hi Andrés,

Reference lists cannot be exhaustive, e.g yours did not include my own contributions, starting from 1996 ! In my book, I did not focused a lot on purely trigonometric methods, but I pointed at Cdt Paoli in p 33 and [H62] :
Commandant Jean Paoli: "le point parallactique", bulletin de l'amicale de l'Enseignement Maritime, 1995.

I had a number of contacts with CDT Paoli, who was retired in French Polynesia. We have compared our results successfully, noticeably for fast mobile observers. His method has been discussed as mine in Hydro-Marseille forum (now ENSM) several years ago.

    1) About Van Katwijk method (MPP approach through pseudo-inverse matrix), see :B. Van Katwijk :  "A different view of the Star Fix", Stichting Hogere Zeewaartshool (Amsterdam), IMLA newsletter N°2, july 1981. I discussed with B. Van Katwijk about Bodenez pioneer method a few years ago. If needed, I can provide short descriptions (with publication excerpts) about these methods.

    Best Regards,

    Yves Robin-Jouan
