Sign of v correction to GHA
    From: Patrick Keenan

    Greetings,

I am trying to understand the mechanics of the v correction to GHA for moon and planets. For the moon the correction is always positive, increases GHA. But when I draw a diagram, since the moon orbits earth in the same direction we are spinning on our axis, it appears that the motion of the moon should reduce the rate of GHA increase caused by earth's rotation. That would imply a negative v correction.

    What is my mistake?
