    A downside to changing the date is that it will again be out of date 
    immediately. A lot of work and in less then a year you are back to the same 
    place. I think keeping the date and including the relevant pages from the 
    almanac is all we need to do.
    
    I had not thought about the question of set and drift. It is something that 
    might best be changed to come into line with the accepted texts on 
    navigation. Any reason not to make that change?
