    Thanks for your answers to leg 91, Peter, and sorry for taking so long responding.  I didn’t see a response soon after posting my question, and then lost track of the whole thread until today.  I’ve got your answers and Red’s now.  I’ll have them to compare to my results when I get that far.

    Thanks to Mike for supplying the questions for SS91. Here are my answers. I make no great claims to them being correct, but they may serve to compare with other's, so we can eventually arrive at definitive answers.

    Where rhumb line calculations are involved the result will depend on the method used. My method uses Meridional Distances and Parts, because it is the most accurate. Over these relatively short distances there should not be significant differences with other methods, such as Mid Latitude.

    2/   01:41:20 LZT

    3/  TC112.0d over 27.7nm

    4/  152d  (to the nearest degree? As my method is graphical and thus approximative, this is not a precise result)

    5/  Can't do. Don't seem to have the complete position for Port Firman?
