PLEASE NOTE. I sent a message under this threadname yesterday, inadvertently, before it was ready. Sorry about that. Several aspects of that posting were in error. A corrected version will follow shortly. Frank Reed has already provided a useful response about the interpolation procedure for declination. That was a part of the message that didn't require amendment. George.
