    Solar Eclipse Aug 21
    From: Brad Morris

On Monday, 21 August, the path of a solar eclipse will cross the continental US.  Of course, this may also result in sun-moon lunars with an LD of 0°, at least for some.

I wonder if the tools will work for this lunar?  Is there some way to predict the path where the LD is 0°?  Of course, that's along the path of totality, but since we just care for contact, not coverage, the path of 0°LD must be fairly broad as compared to the totality path.

Given the relative excitement about the occlusion, this promises to again be a special CN event.

    Brad
