It was mostly cloudy over the northeast US. Here in Rhode Island, we had a brief window of clear skies overhead... blue sky at the zenith, after rain overnight. But low in the east there was a bank of clouds with only partial breaks. The face of the Sun was never visible, It was 35% hidden by the Moon and 100% hidden by clouds. I was up early, and it was calm and moderately warm, so I stepped out for a look. A couple of photos below...
