  I tried ChatGPT.  It's very good.  I asked it "How do they get the silver bits into the centre of GB one-pound coins?"   The answer was first rate.  My next test is to ask its opinion on the identity of the chap with the sextant in the Graf Zeppelin.  After that I’m going ask it to complete my lecture on Matthew Flinders, which I’m down to present to the Village History Group in three weeks’ time.  I promised it last January, went mad on in it in February, got fed up of it in March, and apart from a quick visit to the birthplace in August, haven’t touched it since.
