Chatham Historic Dockyard
Chatham ME4 4TE
Exeter Maritime Museum
Haslar Jetty Road, Gosport, Hants PO12 2 AS
Waterfront Museum
4 High Street, Poole, Dorset BH15 1BW
Southampton Maritime Museum
Wool House, Town Quay, Southampton
There are lots more of small museums mentioned in “Maritime Britain” but I guess just visiting these (and the NMM - possibly the Science Museum – and the Royal Naval Yard) will keep somebody occupied for least a week. If you would like some more, let me know.
