I’m not sure on how wide angle the camera is but, I believe I can see Castor and Pollux just above the sickle of the cloud? And Dube and Merak to the left above the Kennedy Space Centre. I believe the photographer was a few metres NW of the NW end of the bridge on Nasa Parkway E over the Banana River. The ‘What star is this’ looks a bit far away from the pointers and a bit too bright to be Polaris, so maybe it’s Alpheratz. Similarly, top right would be Procyon. Alternatively, if a narrower lens was used top right could be Castor and Pollux. My main worry is, without a fairly wide angle lens, the ground light pollution doesn’t fit in. To make my launch site bearing fit, the lens stop had to be opened after launch. There again, I could be completely wrong (it wouldn't be the first time) DaveP
P.S. For all you U S Power Squadron guys, aren't we just port of transit with the towers on Complexes 40 and 41?
