I was with you on Castor and Pollux, Procyon. Polaris, and the Plough.  Thank you for not pointing out that the 6th star is a binary star system of which Alcor is the dimmest.  That would have made me Mizarable.  I realised Regulus mut have been down there somewhere below C&P, but I’ve never been able to spot it, were surrounded by trees and houses here, so I ignored it.  I go along with your analysis of the photo spot.  I’d persuaded myself he must have pulled in along the Parkway about 1.5km SSE of your chosen spot.  The place I picked was the only place along there with bushes, but I wasn’t happy, Polaris wasn’t north anymore.  What threw me was all the light.  Everywhere looked like a small town, but then again, I suppose a US rocket launch complex is like a small town.  That’s why they’re called complexes.  If the bright orange area is Pad 41, what’s the tower/rocket, which is also reflected in the water, just to the left of the Pad 40 Launch Point, which from my position on the Parkway I took to be Pad 41.  DaveP
