The proprietor of Sphere Research is in ill health and the company is terminating operations. Sphere sells used electronic test equipment, tools and components, plus slide rules and drawing instruments. The most desirable slide rules are mostly marked "SORRY, SOLD" but there's some good stuff left. I put one on order this morning. The drawing instrument sets seem to be all sold, but lettering sets remain. If you're considering a German slide rule, be careful. They often have the trig scales on the body. I have never understood the reason for that. Products of trig functions, as often appear in navigation (e.g., the cosine formula), are much easier when the trig scales are on the slide. https://www.sphere.bc.ca/ -- Paul Hirose sofajpl.com
