Our new Rumsey Map Center at Stanford Libraries opens tomorrow. It contains one of the World's largest collection of antiquarian maps, including lots of celestial/navigation materials. It is also the world's most advanced digital map center -- even if one can't visit the campus, a growing cross-section of the collection is available online as hi-res zoomable images.
