Star finders and ghosts

Perhaps a bit off topic:
Traditional (way back) nav would not use electronics. A sailing/skiing
buddy who knows of several of my hobbies/passions made me aware of the
SkyScout. It's a point-and-shoot finder (6000 celestial objects claimed)
using a combination of GPS position and three-axis sensors measuring
gravitational and magnetic fields. View it and the headphones/display gives
you name, location and data-base facts. Rack rate $399. I think I'll stick
with my 2102-D for the moment, thank you.
Now for the fun. For those of you did not catch the Monday early AM
(Indiana, USA EDT) CBS news while hanging gear to dry after Sunday
races/sailing, the Mystic Seaport was a feature. Specifically the whaling
ship "Morgan." Sporadically, independent visitors have reported sighting a
character in period costume on board and below decks. Mystic acknowledges
using actors in period costumes, but denies that this is one of them. Ghost
busters sense a presence. A mystery?
What's the low-down skinny on this Frank?
Bill
