I wasn't sure if he was interested in pre-planning sights or wanted to become more familiar with the night sky. That's why I included the planisphere at the end, it's good for that and a lot easier to use than the others.
I have heard that HS Reyes' book titled "The Stars" is also a very good source for learning the sky. He redrew and probably renamed constellations. The result was a better means of remembering star location at least for some people. I have no first hand opinion.
