I think that celestial globes are printed "as seen from the outside" because it is easier for graduations. Note that the same is true for the StarFinder 2102-D.
These instruments are not intended to represent the sky as it appears to us, but to allow the user to determine the height and azimuth of a celestial body or to identify a celestial body whose height and azimuth have been measured, for a given place and time.
