Status Report on Navigator's Slide Rule

Last year my time got progressively taken up with my father's increasing Alzheimers, and then finally his death in December.
I have finally gotten back into a space in life where I am able to work on the Mark 2 Navigator's Slide Rule project. The step I am in the midst of now is submitting drawings to a CNC machinging company (CNC = computer numerical control) and discussing materials/feasibility.
There are different possibilities that could be used in various combinations: machining, laser etching, 3-D printing. The time has come to start SOMEwhere and see what is possible. Living as I do in a city with lots of machine shops, I decided to start with them.
