Brooke, having not seen others posting about Stellarium, I will add a few more items.
Go to the "Configuration" tab on the left side of the screen, then under "Extras" you can select either decimal degrees or degrees, minutes, seconds (Configuration → Extras).
Config → Info: lets you choose what info is displayed on the CB that you have selected.
Config → Tools: lets you choose between topographic observer and geocentric observer.
Config → Plugins: add Angle Measure, EOT (displayed at top of screen) and Navigational Stars (look for grayed-out sextant symbol on the lower toolbar and click on it to show the stars).
Sky and Viewing → Sky → Projection → Stereographic: change "vertical viewpoint offset" to -25% (this gives a lower horizon that I like).
Open "Astronomical Calculation Window" on left of screen → PC.
If you want to have the left and bottom toolbars permanentally displayed (so you don't have to hover), click on the tiny arrows at the bottom left of the screen.
