Yes Pete Townsend used to have a home at Mawman Smith, on the Helford. I would sail past it a few times! Cant' remember seeing Gloria here, but she looks better in Antiqua!
No I am a member of the lowly Penzance sailing club, not the posh RCYC, but have many of the Who records from the 60's and 70's on vinyl still! tha t ages me!

Maybe we could interest Pete Townsend in CelNav, join navlist,and take out parties of Navlist "sight accuracy committee." (I volunteer for medical officer and assistant navigator, Frank presumably chief navigator, with science officers Greg, Hanno, you Andre etc etc?
to make the trip really worthwhile and keep the R&R theme going, I understand Eric Clapton has a alcohol rehab centre there called the Crossroads centre tps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crossroads_Centre. we could all call in there on the way home!?
