Sun returning to SouthernHhemisphere

As I write this at about 1754 NZST on 21st June 2017 the dec of the sun is N 23° 26.1'.
In about five hours it will be N 23° 26.0' and so the southern hemishere will be claiming the sun back. Unfortunately the weather is about three months out of phase with the seasons so the present settled (although cold) weather will soon be replaced by weeks and weeks of cold north-west gales.
Conditions today were ideal for sun sights but due to other commitments I did not take any (-;
