My spreadsheet is below if I can get it to transfer. You might have to widen the columns. I'm an analogue dinosaur at heart; this digital stuff is just a bagfull of ones and naughts to me. I got theta in my diagram = 0.3434 degrees and h = 4505", which sounds crazy until I thought of halyard tightening. There you can pull a foot of halyard out at 90 degrees to the mast and only tighten the halyard by a couple of inches, so maybe it's not crazy. DaveP
