Hello Henry,
the Tamaya MS-733 "Venus" was a Yachtsman-size model that was introduced 1977 and made until ~ 1990 or so. It had Arc radius 138mm (compared with 162mm for full-sized MS-733 "Spica" and MS-833 "Jupiter" models), so is approximately 7/8 scale. They were offered with choice of conventional split-view horizon mirror, or full-view "Univision". Very nice instrument, maybe you have made a good find! Here is a picture of an old catalog page with some details.
Yours aye,
Al Stewart (Jamaica)
