    Interesting test and impressive results for that sextant.
    
    Your data made me wonder about which
    horizontal datum is best to be used in the GPS
    for this kind of test.
    
    I assume that WGS84, being a global datum
    - as apposed to local datums used in charts -
    is best and closest to the spheric model used
    in celnav. But I'm not sure.
