Some tidal harmonic values from an old book to try for the Humber estuary:
near the mouth:
Z0: 4.1m
M2: 2.1m, phase 150°
S2: 0.73m, phase 200°
near Hull Roads:
Z0: 4.0m
M2: 2.4m, phase 170°
S2: 0.78m, phase 225°
There are other important harmonics, most especially the diurnal terms O1, K1, etc., but M2 and S2 alone can work well in a typical semi-diurnal site like this (and much better than M2 alone).
Something to consider for the practical side: maybe you want two tide clocks, one displaying the water level, and the other displaying the tidal current. For a boat trying to get in and out of an estuary like this one, tidal current may be much more important, and there's a substantial phase difference.
