Hello Howard,
Thank you for yoour repsonse...interesting and thought provoking. But the fact that I only partially understand what you said speaks ill of my calculator abilites. I remember that I used to use the TI-59 in yacht design calculations...extracting the 2/3 powers of a number as an example. But that is really baby slope stuff.
