Re my previous post. I did not realise that the picture file names would ot dissplay. So . . . .
Photo 1 - The chart room. The picture taken when the ship was in port, hence the absence of the paper chart.
Photo 2 - Chart plotters and radar displays
Photo 3 - From lef to right - the Suez Canal pilot, the Officer of the Watch, the second pilot, the helmsman. The Captain and a cadet were out of frame on this photo.
Photo 4 - Note the essential voice recorder on the blue lanyard. The chronometer watch is strapped to the sextant telescope, thus canot be seen in the picture.
Photo 5 - One of the two warships that we saw when transiting the danger area.
