I suspect that this is a variant of a standard Tamaya that was available in 1970s/80s. There are a several Tamayas in the classroom collection at the Treworgy Planetarium at Mystic Seaport Museum. They are small ...but not tiny. I'm thinking 60% of the size of a typical modern sextant. The brand on this instrument, International Nautical, is a well-known reseller/rebrander/re-something of Tamaya sextants. The ones I call the "Tamaya-likes" are variants of the more common standard Tamaya Jupiter (if I remember correctly). I owned an "International Nautical" variant of the Tamaya Jupiter for some years. It was nice, and yet it was clearly not as good as a genuine Tamaya (it had alternate lower-quality shades and a few other minor differences).
