    Three Oddball Sextants
    From: Jan D

I am rich in sextants - I have 3. I don't know for certain what any of them are.
I have looked for them all. Followed every link I could find including Landfall, Robert White, sextant book, the nautical sextant, and the maker's website(s), where available. eBay was a rabbit warren ...

These seem to be from well-known makers -- but none of them are recognizable from any descriptions or photos of any of the makers models.

Maybe it's just that these are old. I dunno. Is the '50's "old" in sextant-time?

Anyway, does any of this ring a bell with anyone?
Can anyone point me in a direction to go next?

    1) Tamaya & Co. Brass (bronze?) trigger area. No light. Needs work. Small heart with a plus sign inside it just above the name. Serial number is low 5 digits. (2 pictures)
    2) Weems & Plath. C. Plath. Germany. low serial number. Clean & working - even the light. No clamp release - just a knob. (2 pictures)
    3) International Nautical -- tiny. I think it's a 'half-size'. "Certificate of Examination" says 1974.

I'm trying to find out what they are so I can get parts for them - and repair them. Properly.

If you have a moment, I'd certainly appreciate any help!
