Sorry for taking a while to get back to this topic. I've been busy with
"real work".
Are any of you interested in discussing tide dynamics, tidal harmonic
analysis, the various factors influencing tidal phenomena? I posted some tide
prediction code back in early July, but that may have been missed as we
transitioned between list servers. Go to the archive at www.fer3.com/arc for July and look at

This code handles only the top dozen and a half of the standard tidal
harmonics but it works very well, IMHO. Comments welcome!
