Another free app that will keep your PC's clock synchronized is "Dimension 4" (d4.exe), from Thinking Man Software. I've used it for years to keep non-domain Windows boxes in synch and been completely happy with it. It works in the background and doesn't require much set-up, although you can take off the back and mess with the wires (as it were) if you like.
