Yes, I have seen that particular episode, in fact I recorded it. Now that you have asked for opinions on content, I'll have to go back and review it again
However, so many of these theorized scenarios while enticing, are just that. The tragedy of the Titanic seems to be at least to me, a series of unfortunate mistakes or miscalculations made by the crew and ultimately as it goes in maritime law, their sole responsibility. As whether or not Captain Stanley Lord or this "mystery ship" could have or should have rendered assistance is probably beyond a PBS special. That said, it makes for some interesting "what if's"
I am Titanic junky as well as a "Bounty" nut. I find this stuff so interesting and tantalizing Cheers
